As life would have it, he threw me a curve
And all I could do, was fold to his quest
Diving deep into a fantastic oeuvre
And concede that little has really progressed.

Human nature defies change and endures
as it was during the Bard’s classic times
And Man, spinning in space, never matures
Yet, at high risk crossroads, he now arrives

So let’s look back to see what was well writ
To learn from our past, for all our sakes
Wisdom of heart and soul, words full of wit,
Lest they become estranged and branded fakes

Hence, from us to you, pleasure for your ear
“Darkly Bright, Conversations with Shakespeare”
